Step 01Setup

Open the Runner & connect your AI

There's no app to download from us and no permissions to grant. Just navigate to mobezy.com/runner and you're ready to build mobile apps and run them online or offline.

No coding is required. The apps are written by an AI service of your choice. Tap the ⚙ gear on the Projects screen to open Settings:

  • AI Provider: pick the service you want to use (for example Google Gemini).
  • Model: choose which model of that provider writes your code.
  • API Key: paste your key, then tap Save Settings.

Know a bit of code? You can make small changes yourself. Otherwise, just let the AI do it.

Settings: provider, model & API key
Step 02New project

Tap + and name your app

The Projects screen shows all your apps. Use the toolbar at the bottom of the screen:

  • + creates a new project. Give your project/app a name.
  • ☁ Cloud lets you download projects from the community, or you can create your own.
  • Search and sort help you find apps as your collection grows.
Projects: + is at the bottom
Step 03Instructions

Describe what your app should do

Type an instruction and tap ADD INSTRUCTION. One instruction is enough; the AI will guess the rest. The more detail you give, the less the AI has to guess.

Example instruction

Pro tip: split big ideasFor long, detailed apps, use several separate instructions. That way you can separate screens and functionality too.

Your app lives in the web browser and its data is stored there. Instructions can share data through the browser's local storage. Anything saved there is available in every instruction, so data can even flow backwards.

Write an instruction → the AI shows “Code created”
Step 04Review & refine

View, edit, or ask AI to change the code

The AI generates JavaScript code that you can view and edit if you need to.

Prefer not to touch code? Tap Ask AI to modify the code and describe the change in plain words. The AI edits just that part, so you don't need to regenerate the whole application over and over.

Ask AI to modify the code
Change the name to analog clock.

Available offlineEverything is stored in your browser's storage, so your apps work offline as well.

Step 05Reuse

Build once, reuse as a module

Any project can become a building block. Say you build a payment module and save it as “ABC payment”. In your next app you can import the whole module/project.

  • In your project, switch from Instruction item to Project item.
  • Pick the module from Select a project.
  • Save. The module becomes part of your new app.
“Project item” imports a whole project
Step 06Share

Add images & publish to the community

Under Project Images, choose an app icon and up to 5 screenshots (PNG). We recommend portrait, mobile-layout screenshots.

Tap PUBLISH to share your creation. You'll see the icon and screenshots that will be shared, and you can set a unique name, a description and tags.

We review, then it goes public

No approval needed to use it yourselfReview only applies to public sharing. You can use your app locally straight away.

Updating laterModify your app and upload it under the same name or a new one. A new name must be unique. Each new version is reviewed again before it goes public.

Project images → Publish Project
Step 07Backup

Export your projects regularly

When you download a community project, Mobezy creates your own version of it. You can update it, and even re-share it under a different name.

Your projects live only in your browser, so back them up often: open Settings → Export projects. This downloads one JSON file with all your projects. Use Import projects to bring them back, or to move them to another browser.

Wiping browser storage deletes everythingYour apps and their saved data will be lost unless you have an export. Mobezy never saves your API key, so you'll need to enter it again too.

Export → “File saved successfully”
Good to know

How Mobezy is different

No app stores, no unnecessary permissions from unknown developers, and no hidden code.

No users, no login

There are no accounts. Projects you create or download are saved in your browser only, or in a JSON export. Lose both and the projects are gone.

One browser, one set of projects

Each browser keeps its own projects. To use the same set elsewhere, export from one browser and import in the other.

Desktop apps, too

Everything is browser based, so you can build desktop apps as well as mobile apps.

Best on Chrome or Samsung

On a mobile phone we recommend Chrome or Samsung Internet. They handle Bluetooth flawlessly.

Add to Home screen

Add our page to your Home screen as an icon and it works like an installed app. Use it offline, even on a plane.

Safe by design

Apps run inside your browser's built-in protection, and you can see the source code of every app.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to install anything or create an account?

No. Open mobezy.com/runner in your browser and start building. There are no users, logins or permission prompts.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe your app in plain words and the AI writes the code. If you do know some code, you can view and edit the generated JavaScript yourself.

Where are my apps stored?

In your browser's storage, which is why they work offline. They are not stored in an account. Export them regularly from Settings to keep a backup.

Why don't I see my projects in another browser or device?

Each browser has its own storage. Export your projects to a JSON file in the first browser, then use Import projects in the other one.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Your projects, their saved data and your API key are removed. You can restore projects from an exported JSON file; you'll need to re-enter your API key.

Do my apps need approval before I can use them?

No. You can use your apps locally right away. Only apps you publish to the community are reviewed before they become public, including each new version.

Can I change a community app I downloaded?

Yes. Downloading creates your own copy. You can update it and even re-share it under a different, unique name.

Which browser should I use on my phone?

We recommend Chrome or Samsung Internet, especially for apps that use Bluetooth.

How to Use it as an App on the Home Screen

Follow this short video to use the app just like it was in installed app on your device. Internally, it is still your browser but you can't see the address bar, and it is generally easier to manage.
